I just noticed there are exactly 19 playable characters in touhou 19 and I wonder if this means there'll be exactly one character from each game, at least for 6-19, and then some discrepancies to fill in for the earlier games (like y'know, the main characters, and maybe some extras that zun just felt like putting in).

if there's one character per main Windows game, that's 13, plus Reimu and Marisa makes 15, which would leave four more spots. PoFV had four newcomers (Aya, Medicine, Komachi, Eiki), so maybe that could happen again?
oh, I usually forget about all the newcomers in 9. it's the windows game I know the least about by far
