this one thinks Harphony meant the new notification filter, which allow hiding likes
dollsonally it kept the likes on, as that brings it smile when other beings enjoy its writing, but a lot of beings probably turned those off
overall that's a really nice feature to be able to filter that out without entirely removing that, as that helps beings who get addicted to the dopamine rush of seeing likes
tbh this one actually uses likes in a confusing way, because it uses them both to show somebeing it likes their post and to bookmark posts it wants to read again in the future
would probably be nice if something like "saved posts" was added so that those two usages could be split
