I say "this weekend" to mean the coming weekend, and "next weekend" to mean the one after that
Easy, I— thinks about it literally at all, causing me to forget every single time I’ve used the phrase ever
I guess I uh I just clarify which one I mean whenever I say it idk
"Next weekend" always refers to the weekend happening after the next full set of week days, 7 or more days from now
ok but if it's a Sunday then next weekend is less than 7 days away
