I think about slime transformation sometimes, it’s cute and sometimes kinda scary.
There’s the slowly-melting kind and that’s great and all, but I have another proposal: explosive slime tf! A body painlessly bursting into living goo piece by piece, a slight jiggle or tingle in each part being the only warning. Like an inkling getting splatted!
Bonus points if the volume of the resulting slime is disproportionately high compared to the volume of the previous solid form :3
It must be quite overwhelming and potentially frightening. I can imagine a dazed slime slowly drawing back together, subconsciously attempting to sculpt a likeness of their usual appearance, groaning and asking “What happened…?” Lots of potential cuteness there I think.
