taste me, as the food and drink Alice found almost said. she was cast unto a stormshorn sunderedsea. you too will fall beneath my waves in time.

mind-body monism

if the mind feels it is not of the body, or the body feels it is not of the mind, it is a sign something is going wrong

something has severed that link. or seemed to. stress in the mind manifests in the body; things not known to the mind which dwell within it must and do burst out into the body. the body's machinations return to the mind. the mind cannot exist without bodily desires.

it's not always in the form you expect because the body isn't one thing. narrative tries to make it one thing sometimes. a good narrative lets truths which aren't each others' exist together.

you're many things. if your mind is many things, so is your body. if you see something that isn't you, you can reclaim your mask. you can let the color fill its cheeks. you can let it take joy in itself. even when it's been given another narrative. substitute your own. its how you heal the severed link.
