new dragon canon: dragon-me has a lycanthropy thing going on but it's only during lunar eclipses so it's not actually that big of a problem. I just get powered up, stuck in quad form, and get mildly more aggressive than normal, and intensity of all this is dependent on how total the eclipse is. Something something part bakunawa, eating the moon, etc
I think the appeal of this idea to me is the idea of becoming more animalistic, having your self control slip away and losing yourself to instinct, but in a way that can be planned around and prepared for so you're not actually a risk to anyone.
Also I bet it's such a cathartic experience. Coming down afterwards as the eclipse ends and your senses return would totally be such a moment of clarity and calm with all that pent up fury and instinct released and quelled as you idk ripped up a dummy of a prey animal to shreds or sth
I am now: mulling on taking this idea in a more cosmic terror direction hee hoo
like my dragon form gets way more complex and spooky and I look a bit like a Souls boss as my shapeshifting goes haywire, and I basically turn into a cosmic horror. Maybe during solar eclipses, and during lunar eclipses I'm just more Beast
Something is appealing to me about turning into Cthulhu for a few hours then waking up afterwards and being Hey, What The Fuck Was That
