i've always seen myself in some kind of storyteller role. be it through game mastering or writing stuff or just doing my weird worldbuilding. I love telling stories to people, and i've often said that in a preindustrial setting, i likely would have channeled that love via like. probably joining the clergy actually that's how that need was communicated through a lot of history.
so. i guess my "job" would be a writer, or librarian, or just. story-maker. whatever that means in this context. i tend to hold a policy against imagining utopian postcapitalist societies because i genuinely feel that it hurts my ability to find satisfaction in the here and now and the near future; but no matter the world, even in a hardscrabble dystopia, i believe i can find some kind of outlet for that drive i hold.
