for those not familiar with infinity: imagine Space Future Human Nations and a Covenant-style multispecies alien invading threat glaring at each other thru binoculars across a DMZ on a planet surface cold war style (yes the armistice includes the aliens holding their territorial gains on human planets its fucking hilarious)
this also super fucking works cuz the war with the Combined Army was always kind of the exception in the "multiway cold war deniable ops firefights" narrative setup that forms the games core, but with the armistice the ayy lmaos get to join in on the cold war deniable ops shenanigans with the bickering human states its SO FUCKING FUNNY
