There's something cute to me about my sona/kinself being a Literal Dragon with an Extremely Normal Human Name hehe. It's fun!
Nonetheless, I've also been playing around with maybe some alternate formal or more fantastical names for different setting versions of my dergn sona; i like the idea of dragons having multiple-name customs of an home name used day to day and a "formal" name perhaps adopted as a coming of age thing.
I do have a very rough sketch of a Tozarran Draconic language but I've been having some trouble coming up with compound names that feel Right for that version of me. Came up with "Elesâuńurrai", which is actually a compound meaning "gentle sky dwelling flame", which is very pretty but doesn't feel me enough. Though I do like the idea of formal names being Fancy Compounds while informal ones work more like our cultural perceptions of first names
I'm rambling but I have a funny perspective on therian/kin stuff where I... partly write worlds and settings to weave a home for the feelings I have in my heart? I weave a world that feels right as a home for my identity. Probably makes me sound crazy, but it's cozy as all hell tbh
