I really liked Peach but everyone got bored of it immediately and yet somehow PEACH IS STILL OUT THERE and I want to know how the fuck they are funding this and who could possibly still be using it
oh i remember hearing about peach WAYYYYY back, can i ask what you liked about it?
Peach's gimmick was like...it's hard to explain, especially because my memories of it are fuzzy now, but it was a really interesting feed setup. Like you could embed all sorts of shit using little slack-ish codes, like I think you could embed calendar events and stuff, there was a thing where you could draw pictures on there, it was just really different. I think there was also no real feed, it would show your friends and their latest post (cohost's newer feed style is similar to that). It needed a LOT of polish, but I liked it as an early start. This old article might give a better idea of it: https://www.cnet.com/tech/services-and-software/what-is-peach-social-app/
Now to be fair this isn't getting into the corporate aspects of "made by the vine guy" lol but I just thought it was really doing something weird and different.
Peach
fuzzy
i see what you did there
but yeah this looks interesting, although i supposed the “you cant see posts from strangers” thing mightve hamstrung the userbase a bit irt discoversbility and making new friends
