feels weird to have to say this but y'know I actually don't only use cohost to complain about cohost

it's just that I use it like I use other sites where I mostly want to have conversations with people and there's no way for someone coming to my profile to see the nice chats I have with people in the comments of their posts, and those conversations have to end prematurely because of the comment threading

but my point is you literally can't see me having these conversations about Not Cohost because of the way the site is, it's not like Bluesky or Fedi where you can hit the "with replies" tab or whatever

I've had some nice chats here even if they had to be short

There's not much benefit to me making the kinds of posts I do on fedi here because I already make them there and can have way longer conversations about my projects there, but when I see interesting posts here I comment on them! Which...a lot of people DON'T seem to do here given how many posts I see with no comments, or maybe the things I'm into don't have enough users here into them. But because my engagement here is mostly in other people's comments nobody is going to see that, they're just going to see Complaints About Cohost.

Well, and my threads about alt text that I hope people check out.

It's interesting too that, if you'd listen to some folks on here, you can't talk about cohost off cohost because that's creepy and harassment but then you can't talk about cohost on cohost because then you're a bad faith troll who just wants to get mad and how dare you.

I don't know who boosted my Ikea Fetish Guy thread after seeing my cohost posts but someone did and I think it got more traction out of the two lmao I need everyone to know about this guy because YOU MAY END UP SEEING HIM SOMEWHERE
