I'll never really get into lucid dreaming porque soy una supersticiosa but I've been able to do some minor self-preservation guiding since I was young and it always makes me laugh when I realize what happened hours later
last night I had a very long dream and at some point started playing an MMO-like game, and I was a mermaid swimming in the open ocean. I entered an area that suddenly displayed a huge Cthulu lookin symbol, signaling some kind of boss encounter that I wasn't sure I could solo and that I assumed would spawn a cosmic horror themed monster. the dreaming part of me, with perfect clarity, thought, "Well, it's no big deal if I try this encounter and lose, since I'll just respawn. But if I see something scary, it might turn this dream into a nightmare, so I'm just gonna stop playing now," and logged right tf off and went about the rest of my dream
