i'm starting to feel like i have more of a preference for co-op in racing games thanks to games like the crew and forza horizon (3 onwards)
online pvp feels much too competitive and sweaty for my tastes, with the heavy emphasis on an unbalanced meta, in addition to the endless amount of dirty driving. whereas singleplayer racing feels like a boring grind against non-existent or bullshit ai
but co-op racing feels much more like a controlled enviroment - it's much more fun racing together with friends in whatever cars we like without a care in the world about the meta and random drivers ruining our race
