I played Analogue on stream for the tenth anniversary and it was... I mean, I wouldn't say that I didn't remember a lot of the intent and decisions that went in, but yeah, it had finally transformed from "I can only see the flaws and mistakes" to "this feels like a work made by a totally different person with totally different concerns."

It's definitely still a pretty different relationship with a work than the usual way a player would engage with it, though. I suspect I'll probably never be able to feel the thing where you fill in the gaps with your own interpretation, because, you know. But I did end up being surprised in places, which was fun!
