There's no easy way to answer that question, sadly. I enjoy it, love it, but I also did it as a hobby starting at middle school and had 7 years to figure out if I enjoyed it enough to do it for the rest of my days. That's a luxury most don't have.

The short version would be that, compared to other programming disciplines, it requires you to be able to learn new things more often than others. There's lots of information, guides, tutorials, etc. out there and anyone with a computer can start making their own websites for free. Not all the guides are good, though, and there's a not-insignificant amount of things to become proficient at before you'll be able to get into entry level jobs, depending on what kinds of websites you want to make.

If you are able to make a website, and it makes you happy or you found the process interesting, then it can be something you might consider pursuing as a career.
