For those that don't know, Postybirb is an amazing tool that lets you easily cross-post to multiple sites with minimal effort. It absolutely beats the heck out of going to each site individually and manually uploading art and such one uplaod/submission at a time.

It even has templates and shortcuts to make it even faster! Say you have a certain set of tags you frequently use- you can have a tag group that lets you import all of them in one easy click! Need different variations of certain tags depending on the site? No problem, there's a tag translator to handle that! You can also schedule posts to be uploaded at a particular time! (Although the computer you're using it on has to be on and not "asleep" at the time)

Unfortunately... it isn't yet supported for Cohost. The reason why is simple: Cohost doesn't yet have a full public API, which is kind of needed for PB support. There have been requests for it for ages now, with some ambiguous promise that it's in the works for all that time. I know there's a LOT of stuff apparently in the works, but personally, this is the feature I want the most, and I'm willing to bet I'm far from alone. Nothing else comes close. It's a PITA having to recreate posts manually for Cohost every time. I do it anyway because I like Cohost and want it to succeed. But this site NEEDS an API.

Now don't go harassing anyone over this. That is the LAST thing anyone should be doing. That'd only be detrimental to the cause, plus it's just plain rude. But if you read this and feel the same way, please post about it, and consider visiting this post in the Cohost Feature Request forum and adding your vote to the total.

Sorry for the long-winded text post/rant, but I've been pining for the ability to use PB on this site since I first joined and it's been driving me crazy waiting for it!

(I have no opinions don't look at me)
The last time it was mentioned was about a month ago:
https://cohost.org/staff/post/3451807-cohost-patch-notes-v
Because it was mentioned, it's likely much higher on the list than most things, which don't get mentioned. Since then, tipping has been delayed (it happens), and dark mode has been implemented (newer patches mention that they've already put in all the work they're willing to on this one for now).
(ok opinions time)
I'd be hopeful on this one! That's it, that's all of my opinion. If it were me I would be scared to ship a public API during a holiday break but otherwise things look pretty good for it.

I think the limitation is currently with cohost's servers. Performance isn't great on a normal basis, and I've already drawn the ire of staff for making what would be acceptable amounts of requests for pretty much any other public API (maybe fair, but how was I supposed to know that)
