if you are going to events, please remember to wear sunscreen. really slather that shit on. especially if you're going in a revealing outfit or nude or something. don't forget your back, ears, part and tummy. consider bringing your sunscreen with for your friends and community members who forgot it.

drink water. bring water with you. if you're drinking alcohol, drink water with it. consider bringing extra water for community members who may need it.

remember that "we keep us safe" means protecting ourselves and each other from 'phobes and cops, but it also means keeping each other safe from heatstroke and sunburn. take care of yourselves and each other out there!

edit: if you are newly on spiro or snris you are likely more heat sensitive now than you are used to be! take extra water! (thanks to okieokie on bluesky for pointing this out.)

the amount of people that are just completely and overwhelmingly dismissive of antipsych experiences and talking points is baffling to me. even if incarceration was an outlier, even if therapists and such were consistently punished for breaking confidentiality, the fact that this stuff happens enough to be a pattern at all is demonstrative of serious fault in the psychiatric system and serious risk to patients! it's just a total failing in compassion on the part of those responding negatively to victims' stories of abuse

involvement in local activist communities is so so vital at this point imho

google is complicit in genocide. i recently switched away from google services, and i no longer use any of their products. here's how you can boycott google, too!
