Lunatea's Veil has been staring at me, uncompleted, for... far too long, now. I'd been wanting to finish it for a long while, I was almost finished—just a few levels and some bosses short of completion, and it only took me a few hours or so...
But,
it was a really good experience. It was simple and fun and colorful and charming and I really appreciated having something like that. The games were just simple fun. I loved the characters, I loved the worlds they presented, I love how bright everything is! I love all the aesthetics they played around with. I love the designs. I love Klonoa

The stories were simple and a little silly sometimes, but
They did have a way of hitting you in the gut when you don't really expect it?
I dunno, like
It's nothing revolutionary, like. It's clearly a game for kids, but it was really, really nice playing something that
Trying to word it. Said everything it wanted to say with its whole chest? It was told whole-heartedly all the way through, and it made it really easy to enjoy it for what it was.

Also when I finally met King of Sorrow, I thought he'd be a lot more like... stoic and mournful, just based on the art that I've seen of him? Sad in a noble kind of way?
But honestly he's kinda pathetic skghskgj He's just a sopping wet creature!! But I like him, I like that about him
I'm glad he's there
I'm glad the game went out of its way to portray something genuine, like that.

The games have a lot of heart and love put into them. They're weird and wacky but, it was fun and it meant something. They really did resonate with me, and they put me in a really pleasant headspace.

I really do hope we get more Klonoa soon ;;
