Something I noticed, I think Pseudoregalia and Cavern of Dreams both like
They both really taught me the value of a shorter game skfhsk
Like they're both short, but they're so dense and still so fun!!! And they have stuff that makes returning to them worth it, awoo,,, I'm glad I just got to experience them ;w;
Like, thinking about how much I enjoyed those two
And thinking about Baldur's Gate, which I have... I don't even know. 140+ hours? Or so? And I'm still not done?? And I'm just dreading booting it back up because there's still so much shit I gotta take care of... it honestly, it's made me feel really burnt out. ;;
If I wanted to re-experience Pseudoregalia or Cavern of Dreams, I could, right now
But Baldur's Gate is... daunting. There's so much shit IK I missed in Act 1 and 2, so much shit I missed by not doing Dark Urge, and it's like, well I could grab it on a next playthrough IG but do I even want to??
Because that's time.
IDK
I think it's like. Cavern of Dreams and Pseudoregalia are like yummy ice cream sundaes :3 And you eat them and you finish them and it's like wow! I'll do that again sometime :3
And Baldur's Gate is like, trying to pig out on an entire one point whatever pound bag of your favorite candy all on your own. Yeah it's really tasty in the moment!! It's good! But the moment you put that fucking bag down you'll feel like shit and you'll never wanna touch that candy again because you'll be so sick of it, but you have to because you still have left in there and it's like ah damn maybe I should just throw it away instead or something bc I don't wanna do this anymore
Which IG the solution then is to space it out and eat it in small chunks, but candy's not gonna stay like, good the longer you leave it out and you got the bag just kinda staring at you and it's like, man it would've been so much easier if you got a smaller bag so you wouldn't have to play these shitty mind games with candy but hey them's the breaks gotta live with your mistakes, you're committed now
