Zexion and Vexen were the most frustrating to fight??? I hated those two and their stupid gimmicks. Vexen went easier bc I resorted to the Firaga strat, I think you could do the same with Zexion but I'm not sure klsdfgh

AND ABSOLUTELY FUCK Luxord and his stupid card gimmick
Xemnas was really rough bc they make you fight both phases in a row, so it makes learning his second phase (the one that can actually kill you) really really difficult, honestly I just stocked Riku up with a bunch of healing items and just kinda tanked through most of it dskfjlgh
If Riku wasn't there I would still probably be fighting him rn!!!!
Axel and Lexaeus were the easiest of the bunch. Axel has an incredibly limited movepool and you can easily manipulate his AI, I think, and Lexaeus is just really easy to read.
Marluxia was probably just easy for me bc I'm going into this at Lv. 99 and I already know how to deal with all his attacks that do health damage. He's like, stressful. But also manageable
Demyx is easier once you learn you can just go Wisdom Form + Firaga. IDK how I did like, the middle of his phases when he's not using his stupid gimmick??? I think you can keep doing Firaga spam and he just lets you
I feel like Xigbar is in kind of the same boat bc you can just. Like he's REALLY hard at first but like if you equip all your combo+ thingymajigs you can??? You can just spam reflect and he can't hurt you bc by the time you're done spamming it he's stunned and you get free damage
And Xaldin you just like, when he does that attack where he disappears and starts like, raining down spears from above
if you learn to jump out of the way you get like, a gajillion of his reaction command things and you can just spam them on him until you run out or kill him
But then it's like. You have to survive until he does that. I can't tell you the amount of times he telefragged me sdfjkghldsg
Saix gave me a lot more problems than I thought he would????? bc like with him it's literally, survive his attacks until you get the opportunity to do a reaction command and then get as much damage in as possible (but not too much or he'll kick your ass!!!!)
but in order to proc the reaction command you have to be up close and be really precise in order to get it bc if you try to be a coward and just glide far away you won't get the opportunity so it
so for me it was just this whole balancing act asdfkjkgh
I think Roxas and Larxene are the ones that like. Gave me the hardest time?? out of all of them excluding Xemnas??? Like in my little puppy head :3 I still think those two were like, the hardest, bc there wasn't any gimmick it was just a straight fight with both of them and they were REALLY hard
I still don't know how I beat Larxene and if you made me fight her again I probably couldn't. And Roxas was just luck I just got lucky ;;;
Anyway overall I had a good time, I like fun boss fights and this game has a lot of those ;w; I just like. IDK. I think a good fight is like, a puzzle
And I feel like some of these only had one solution. And that's... not fun. Does that make sense???
Maybe at some point I'll come back and fight some of them again, awooo... I still wanna figure out what makes some of them tick, awooo,,,
