#i have a friend#who is a birdy#sometimes before i go sleep i'll ask if i can steal their wing#or sometimes i just don't ask i just like#just#grab ahold of their wing and zonk out dfkjghl#just the idea of using a bird's wings as a blanket#being enveloped in warm feathers#warmth#comfort#friends#a *friend's* feathers#it's cozy#and it feels nice#but now i'm thinking#like the thought alone of being held by a bird is wonderful#but i think what makes the feeling so special is that the bird is my *friend*#the warmth doesn't come from the feathers (though they certainly help)#it comes from my *friend*
