finally listening to the full musical, awooo...
After listening from bits of the 25th anniversary, the 10th anniversary, and the Complete Symphonic Recording, I decided to go for the 10th as my first full listen. I just
I can't... get past the 25th anniversary casting Nick Jonas as Marius. Like he's not bad!!!! but like, he just, he stands out so badly
And the vocalists in the Symphonic Recording just don't hit as hard as the 10th anniversary cast ;w; and it also feels a bit slower???
But yeah from the bits I heard the 10th anniversary seems to just, it just SOUNDS the best, I LOVE the casting ;w; It's unfortunate that the 10th anniversary seems to be missing scene transitions and, apparently some songs might've gotten cut? But as long as it's still complete enough then it's a small price to pay, awooo
IDK, Penny Parker Snapcube put the idea in my head with her Web of Shadows video, where she used bits from Red and Black during the Moral Choice In Video Games™ segments and it put the idea in my head, awoo ;w;
