Israel is basically a living example of how, if your country has a military draft, everyone who's not bloodthirsty enough for the military will leave the country by any means they can, and all you're left with is a nation of racist soldiers
if you wonder how you can have a country that's so deeply radicalised the answer isn't "they're just naturally bloodthirsty", the answer is "everyone who is not radicalised will run away" and also why a military draft will, without fail, turn your country into this exact kind of mess, so never ever let your government install one
