As someone who has been online for a long time, one thing I've noticed is that there are people who have legitimate mental illness/neurodivergence/etc and act like they are the only ones who have problems
That some of us aren't actively working towards controlling our worst impulses dictated by mental illness.
THEY are in pain, YOU are not. You don't understand. You don't get it.
If I'm being completely honest, I see this MOST out of white people and ESPECIALLY white women
What is the point of therapy if you don't want to get better? What's the point in "bettering" yourself if you're not going to treat people any different besides stroking your own ego and protecting your own shitty behavior?
Yeah, you're not going to want to forgive people who have hurt you but what's the point in living life believing people can't change? What is the point of YOU trying to get better if you don't believe others can do the same?
Kindness to others is kindness to yourself and you would hate to live a life where you feel as though people don't trust you or you can't trust them because then WHAT IS THE POINT OF SOCIETY
WHY DO ANY OF THIS IF WE'RE ONLY LIVING FOR OURSELVES
