Nicene trinitarianism is basically mainline Christianity that teaches that God is triune and God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all equal, consubstantial, and coeternal

Arianism is the doctrine that Jesus was made by God the Father, not co-eternal with the Father, and is therefore subordinate to the Father

Ah no, Arianism is named after Arius, the guy who came up with the idea. Christian studies has a lot of really confusing words because they coined all the vocabs a thousand years before we started having words to describe other cultures or like, respecting other cultures lol.

The first ecumentical council declared Arianism to be heresy in 325 which is why it's so funny to me that modern restorationist keep reinventing this idea (it's because the Trinity makes no logical sense and must be accepted as a matter of faith, so naturally it's the first thing people try to fix when they edit Christianity to make more sense)
