sometimes I doodle N-omino tilings
i find it an incredibly satisfying exercise
the rest of the page is a lot messier, I do rough sketches while exploring tilings, and then find joy in cleaning them up
this set is exploring unique ways of tiling a 3xN rectangle. the question-marked layouts are me questioning whether the 3x3 case should include the 90-degree-rotation forms or not, given that the other 3xN cases can't have 90-degree rotation symmetry
