that was last week's episode but yeah that was 100% a practical effect
I was really worried at the start of the episode with the CGI hallway, but I breathed a sigh of relief when they finally ran into an actual set 😅 I'm happy they're still putting a lot of the money/effort into practical effects, like the long arms with (pneumatic? hydraulic?) articulated fingers
very true, if only for the 2008-era-budget version having at least 40% more of Tennant hurtling along on all fours upside-down lmao
I find it really funny that the best way they seem to have found to spend all that Disney money is "make the sets 3x as big as they need to be"
