people keep changing their usernames to XX_SNIPER-ELITE_xXX#0420, and going "bro how do I copy paste that". and, somehow, this is my fault and means I can't have é in my username anymore
I just want to meet someone who as a first way to reconnect with someone adds them as a friend on discord. The vast majority of the time I forget that's a thing and just interact with people in the various servers.
fascinating life experience I don't have, but even for that like........ I feel like there are tools for this already. I dunno.
trying hard not to get into more active fights than I already have about this but like. if I went to visit you in person to ask for your discord name, I feel like we could do better than "a e i o u, no capital U, no there's a space in there", etc etc
Yeah, this feels very much like a solution for a very small subset of the discord user base.
the example with fucked up font is especially baffling since that person went out of their way to be obtusely named.
