my gut reaction to the Achewood thing is I don't really want to hear about any uses of LLMs at this point, even if they're like, more "reasonable" cases. not while they're still worming their way into all the software I would like to use, in significantly less justifiable ways. I don't want to strain my own knowledge on the subject by shittily paraphrasing someone else's more informed take, so I'll stick with this: the technology is poisoned to me because of how it's been used to date. until that's repaired I don't really want to hear about other uses of it.
