not giving them full credit on honoring warranty until my replacement parts get here and I test them, but I will give Secret Labs credit for using my new preferred IRL name without any fuss. I just emailed them and said "hey you're going to have [deadname] on file, can you use [IFKYK] instead?"
and they... just did that. wow, it really is that easy.
i deleted the social media post they asked for on twitter because it was past my deletion cutoff, maybe they'll count this one if I end up needing that full five years warranty after this.
my preferred new IRL name isn't that private. but given the opportunity freshly like this, I like having a separation between me IRL and me online that I can play with. that solely *I* can play with, that I'm in control of.
