I'll never look at them. they don't exist. I lost a ton upgrading firefox on my laptop, am about to lose some again on that laptop due to an OS install*, and the ones on desktop and phone are different incomplete sets I never look at. there's probably stuff in there I'd like to read again or share, but idk I don't really like the excuse of "but what if I need it" in my life, anymore. maybe if I get nextcloud set up I'll think about dumping stuff in there.

* not actually wiping the drive, I am actually waiting on a new drive so that I have the old as backup if needed. however, it's a pain in the ass to get things off an M2 (I have a bay coming for this), and especially a pain if you're the kind of sicko who sets up encrypted ZFS boot drives (I WILL be doing this again if Endeavor (spoilers) lets me). so those bookmarks are effectively lost.

in reply to @lunemercove's post:

"made but never referred to" is also a description that applies to notes I took in college, and to an extent notes I take at work. however, those involved writing or typing, and I always believe(d) that act is what made referring to the notes later unnecessary - I wrote or typed them into my memory. bookmarks are a click so I don't think that really applies.
