MASH Complete Collection: points for actually fitting all the damn disks on the spokes without falling off. minor point off for not putting an insert with what's on them, though I have TVDB/wikipedia up for this anyways so it's just extra confirmation.

Columbo complete collection: several points off for barely having the spoke space to hold disks (several came loose and came loose again when I grabbed it back off the shelf to re-rip season 5). minor point for including episodes in the sleeves including what the bonus features were (which was helpful for identifying the one Mrs. Columbo episode that wouldn't rip).

columbo's done and encoded except for one season. mash I think I'm like four seasons into encoding. quality on both is Fine. vague desire to get better quality but BDs, if they exist, are almost certainly more expensive than I'm willing to pay for a full set. and Other Methods introduces a problem of finding better video that's shittily encoded / otherwise below my standards. I think I can live with DVD-quality video for this handful of shows/movies, and will just make sure my BD rips are all at 18 and unimpeachable, to make up for it.

blu rays have rounded off edges and are softer, DVDs have rougher edges that are square with the front/back of the disc.
