also my fileserver does its monthly ZFS scrub on Sunday, so I wanna get as much in before then I as can. it's usable during the scrub, but the scrub takes most of a day and works the drive hard, so I wanna get stuff on there BEFORE then if at all possible.
constant drive usage makes me a bit nervous, expect these drives to fail eventually. but they're in a good config and (as best as I could) set up to spread out the failure patterns. so we hope for the best, and get drives ordered quickly if the worst happens.
