also there's THREE DIFFERENT universal logo intros on the Fast Five disc. I stopped keeping them after the first fast movie. I kind of want to build a folder just for production company logos.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on Hobbs. absolutely a wrestler's comment. from a feature on Fast Five I'm not gonna clip. they also have paul walker and vin diesel on their characters' journeys.
* "for what he does and what he believes in"
more to grab here, including how the table is light wood too. but I didn't feel like getting more screenshots and sending them through a better tool ( / my web storage) to do something fancier here.
they're 0 seconds and mpv complains about indexes. I have some other ones lying around to make jokes with, but I think these ones aren't worth saving.
using toy cars to explain the scene / stunt. from Special Features > Planes, Tanks and Automobiles > Highway Heist: The Convoy Attack on Fast & Furious 6
the earlier ones didn't have the comcast bit as I recall
fascinating how differently DVD titles get laid out, vs blu ray ones which are just numbered (and often, but not always, in an order matching menu layout). curious if they still have this plain DVD of special features in the 8/9/10 disc collections, or if that got stuffed in the corner of one of the UltraHD discs.
terminal output under break
this cuts off most of the work I had to do, but depth three goes way off the screen and I didn't want to deal with screenshotting/copy-pasting that much output.
haven't gone through any of the movies past 7 yet. also deeply suspicious of any 2160p rip. at least one set I have has special features on the 1080p disc it doesn't have on the 2160p disc, and I'm gonna have to check both discs against my ripped .mkvs to be fully sure.
also I am going to be running encodes through the end of the year, probably. oh well.
