primarily solving this by reordering the trueHD sound to the back and (here's the step I forgot earlier today) changing the default drack in the copy encode. secondarily I gotta figure out how to extract the AC3 inside TrueHD. if you deal with DTS-HD you can get DTS out of it without re-encoding. it SEEMS like you can get AC3 out of trueHD the same way. will result in a larger file, presumably, adding that extra track. but we'll see how much. with the size of some of these videos I won't mind the extra bloat.
though for the media I'm currently looking at (Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid), it looks like the other provided tracks ARE the core, or at least are equivalent. I have seen other stuff in The Collection where that isn't the case, though.
