byunless I misunderstand, armed insurrection from Scotland against england (and the subsequent movement of Scottish gangs interested in collaborating with norsefire instead of fighting it) is a big part of the back half of V for Vendetta. and I'm curious what that draws from.
am also noting that unlike my earlier memory that the book was written about thatcher's britain, it was actually started before that (and then I believe written during).
