here's whats going on with the Big Stuff I've Been Writing That's Not Just Another Ambient EP:
PLASMA CUTTER LP3 is DONE... being written anyway! 13 tracks. The only things keeping you from hearing it are me finalizing the mastering/making sure the track loudness is consistent throughout and getting a yes/no from the label I want to switch to for the release for it. If I get a yes from them depending on their release schedule you still might not hear it for a little bit (at least 4 or 5 months?), if I get a no uhhhhhhh. We'll see? I could self release but I am emphatically proud of LP3 and I want as many people to hear it as possible so ideally I'd like to push it through a label that will get more eyes on it than I can achieve on my own.
BLADE OF PHANES LP1: 9 songs done out of a target length of 12. I have lyrics written for way way way more than that but since BOP is my "I'm mad at something fucked up sociopolitically and if I tweet about it I will go to jail" pressure valve project I figure if I make it TOO long it will be very hard to digest lol. Currently 2 songs with vocal features planned so even when I'm done writing/recording for it I'll have to get the vocal recordings from my friends to wrap it off then send it to the label I have in mind for this release. Depending on how long it takes me to get the last 3 songs written, get the feature vocal tracks, and find out if the label I want to go through for it is into it, it's hard to say when you'll be hearing this but I'd say the earliest is probably may/june? not as soon as I like but that's the struggle of getting in line for release schedules when lots of other people are making cool things aaaaaaa.
LOTS OF PROGRESS THOUGH AND IT'S SOME OF THE BEST STUFF I'VE WRITTEN. 2023 IS GOING TO BE A BIG YEAR FOR MUSIC FROM ME AND I'M STOKED FOR YOU TO HEAR ALL OF IT.
