at this point I've accepted something further than "win some, lose some." I'm content with "win some, lose most" as far as my photography efforts go.
I had just discovered awful glare in a test shot because I was right next to the streetlight here in the park and my tripod was in just the wrong place, and I had just moved it onto the rocks and was getting it dialed in when the pad lit up with launch.
I think I managed okay even so.
doesn't beat Intelsat-35e, that launch is still a favorite. even so, it's always nice on a cool Florida night to sit by the river and enjoy the show, even when most things go wrong.
