i don't typically subscribe to ideologies that make claims about invisible forces. things like astrology. i don't have a problem with them as long as they aren't used in manipulative ways, they just don't bring any value to me personally.
however there is one unignorable pattern that i cannot explain without giving some credence to an omniscient cosmic force:
if you are about to go on vacation, the universe WILL notice you are about to relax and make sure you meet your monthly stress quota in advance.
it's inevitable. if you have a plan to take a few days off in a week, a server will fail. or a tire will blow out on the freeway. or a vital home appliance will stop working.
this one thing i believe.
