Imagine showing up to a LAN party with this. Just a giant briefcase-sized laptop with an ITX motherboard and graphics card crammed inside. Show up to a work meeting and just slam this down on a desk and type away with your hands 10 inches from the desk. Simultaneously be the coolest and most insane person in your CS101 lecture.
it's my understanding that prior to the '90s or so, "laptop" often meant just "portable computer," often like a big chonky briefcase thing, until the feasibility and subsequent takeover of the now-ubiquitous "notebook" form factor
so this is really a return to form imo
I'm not kidding, I'd kill for a legit new age luggable with modern hardware and actually beautiful design.
