My girlfriend was once watching my dogs for me, before my Shiba went blind. She accidentally clipped the leash to the wrong ring, the flimsy tag ring, on the collar, and the little dog got free like PWING!
Fast forward a bit. She chased the small brown dog around the neighbourhood a bit. Dog was playing keep away. She thinks she's gotten close to the dog in some brush by the river, lunges through the branches, getting her glasses knocked askew. Grabs a fuzzy brown blur. Brings it close to her face.
Is staring into the eyes of a very confused coyote. Drops coyote. Coyote zips off. Gets her glasses back on. Turns around to see my dog was watching the whole thing from behind her. The little shit.
