i did try that once (for quite a while) and it didn't really do much
in fact the one time someone called me a pony my immediate reaction was to deny it and change it to spy tf2

ok sorry for bumping an old post but this is bugging me and i don't know where else to ask: what exactly do you mean by "be a pony"
i know there are many valid ways to be X and degrees thereof, i'm just asking which of those you're saying is a matter of "just"
(i want to know what i'm actually missing basically)
you just are it, ontologically. in the same way you might have a name or a gender you have the character trait of being a pony
not gonna touch gender but i can kinda relate to names and the changing thereof (at least as in "words that make my brain go «hey that's me»")
