This is hard to write. Recently I was illegally fired from the maintenance job at the Crow and Quill I relied on to make ends meet, in retaliation for union activity. I was one of the main employees working on a strong union contract and I also faced retaliation for seeking union mediation to resolve workplace issues.
With the sudden loss of this work it will be a serious struggle to stay housed and on HRT in the months to come. I'm a trans woman. I'm higher-risk for covid and I've struggled with poverty for most of my life.
So I'm trying to raise enough to pay the bills and keep a roof over my head while my labor charge goes forward. Anything, even just a share, helps.
