it's a pain to put pictures into comments but I was asked about my cameras, and these are they.
most of the tight, zoomed in shots come from my Canon PowerShot SX530 HS, with it's "effective 24-1200mm" optical zoom, which is probably a crop factor/sensor size thing.
the long exposures and wide angles come from my EOS Rebel T3i, usually with the 18-55mm kit lens, but I've occasionally done things with the 70-300mm. I do a little bit of macro photography with the 18-55 like that series on launch consoles and rocket engines I did.
I've had the SX530 since 2017, when I got it refurbished for <$200 for my birthday. its first launch was Intelsat-35e, and I'm the most familiar with it.
the T3i was inherited from my late roommate WaywardPlane, who themselves were gifted ig by a friend who had upgraded to newer stuff and handed it down to em. even having read the manual, I still don't quite know what I'm doing.
