Apparently when our friends go to work, Boots goes to the neighbour's house, where he is called "Bu-Buuts!" (They also feed him barbeque and he comes back smelling smokey)
At around 6pm, the neighbor can be heard shouting "HUH! SO YOU LEAVING NOW EH?" in really rough Cantonese.
Boots can be summoned from far distances by shaking the treat bag outside the house. He'll meow relentlessly as he approaches.

Boots also visits the nearby kindergarten a lot. The owner found out because he was driving home one day and said, "Aww, that cat looks like our cat. 
Wait a minute, that's OUR FUCKING CAT!"
