i have a playalinda beach car pass, and that's the best place to watch these from, right in the surf. I just can't drive, so the car pass is really only useful if we're carpooling.
And when I say it's the best place for an Atlas launch... it's the best place for an Atlas launch.
It'd be an early morning, probably want to get there at 7, no later than 7:30, ahead of the road closure and the beach getting crowded up.
this is the kind of thing i wish i didn't need to leave at 3:30 in the morning for |3 (and also that i wasn't currently too sick to take you up on)
Yeah, in your case I'd say to hold off for a month and come by for the big Psyche space mission instead, that one will rule from cocoa beach and I know the perfect spot. Though there's no parking nearby (which is why it's the perfect spot)
