ZV slot? I've never heard it called that. But that's neat though, presumably a dedicated MPEG-2/AC-3 decoder card that slots into the expansion slot? I knew those expansion slots were basically a shrunken version of the same thing in a desktop, but it continues to surprise me seeing things one mostly associates with desktops have laptop expansion slot counterparts. Imagine using some ancient Thinkpad running Windows 95 and watching a completely modern DVD on it with no performance issues.
ZV slots are specialized cardbus ports specifically for video processing cards. i will post about it
