Notably, none of the facilities on strike are Ford facilities. That's because the UAW reports things progressing well at Ford, where they say they've won:
- Reinstating the cost of living adjustments suspended in 2009;
- Elimination of a separate wage tier for Rawsonville Components & Sterling Axle workers;
- A right to strike over plant closures & up to 2 years wages/benefits if laid off; and
- Conversion of temporary workers after 90 days
