Big news for weirdo web history buffs. One Terabyte of Kilobyte Age, which has been posting Geocities pages sorted by their last edited date, is just about to tick over to 2007. Already seeing the first "happy new year" pages that were last edited New Year's Eve 2006.

tumblr originally launched in february 2007, so we're getting close to one terabyte of kilobyte age having its first web page which talks about how someone is leaving geocities for tumblr
It always weirds me out that those two things overlapped, but I know it overlapped with twitter too and that feels even weirder somehow. Even though I talked about the Geocities shutdown on twitter
