there was no reason to get here this early besides "eh, I'm awake already"
it's not like I'll even see much of a sunrise with this cloud cover.
I DID get a few nice shots of 39B all lit up though, before it started getting too light.
part of me hoped they'd move them all in the night or after I'd left yesterday so I couldn't talk mooself into a third day of this but I'm seeing white roofer railcars in the yard so it sounds like we're back at it
train is laid out different than when I left yesterday
saw and heard them power up the railcar mover (flashing lights AND the horn went off for like thirty seconds)
drawbridge crew are not yet onsite to my eyes tho
also dragonflies are loud when everything else is quiet
it does indeed appear that train crew are onsite but not perhaps drawbridge operators
might be time to pop a single earbud in and pass the time with more music
drawbridge operators are onsite, and the train crew have been making moves in the yard.
I couldn't figure out what kind of moves but then I clocked it. they're sorting out the buffer cars that the SRB train had between each car for travel on the mainline, so they only have to take the SRB cars across the drawbridge.
possibly not tho
more vehicles have shown up, I think one of them is a hi-rail truck (those trucks with the additional wheels they can lower to drive on rails)
it's a whole lot of hurry up and wait
what's one short and what's two short
I can hear the lil dudes horn from here and those are the signals I'm hearing most while it's puttering around the yard
this is toying with my emotions
the van for the drawbridge crew seems to have left but then a guy went back to it on a boat
also look who's back from the OSIRIS-REx sample landing
was it worth it
gonna be honest, uh. maybe not.
but I'm still happy I did
